Imran Khan denied permission to land at Parade Floor on Saturday, says celebration

ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan‘s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) celebration on Friday mentioned the Islamabad administration has denied permission to the previous Prime Minister’s helicopter to land on the Parade Floor within the garrison metropolis of Rawalpindi on Saturday to deal with a protest rally in opposition to the Shehbaz Sharif authorities.
Khan, who’s recovering from bullet wounds suffered throughout an assassination bid, is ready to deal with his supporters in Rawalpindi on November 26. He has mentioned his celebration’s protest in Rawalpindi can be “utterly peaceable”.
Taking to Twitter, PTI chief Asad Umar mentioned that the Islamabad administration has denied permission to the celebration’s plea asking to let the celebration chairman’s helicopter land on the Parade Floor on Saturday.
PTI senior vp Shireen Mazari additionally hit out on the Islamabad administration for not permitting Khan’s helicopter to land on the Parade Floor.
“ICT has denied permission for IK heli to land at Parade Floor altho GHQ permission got here yesterday – want permission from each! Clearly that is farcical & a case of fine cop-bad cop.
“The concern of Imran Khan has seeped into Conspirators’ minds & they proceed to threaten his life,” she tweeted whereas reacting to the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration’s determination.
Earlier this week, PTI had submitted a petition to the Islamabad excessive courtroom (IHC) in search of permission for Khan’s helicopter to be allowed to land and take off from Parade Floor until the “conclusion of the gathering”.
The Pakistan Military has mentioned it has “no objection” to PTI’s request to permit the helicopter of its chairman Khan to land on the Parade Floor beneath its management.
“Normal Headquarters has no objection to the request for placement of helicopters topic to clearance by the authorities,” the Daybreak newspaper on Thursday quoted an announcement from the headquarters of the Pakistan Military as saying.
Khan, 70, survived a gun assault on his convoy whereas holding a protest march within the japanese metropolis of Wazirabad on November 3. The assault befell as Khan was main the march, which was meant to finish within the capital Islamabad.
Khan was ousted from energy in April after shedding a no-confidence vote in his management, which he alleged was a part of a US-led conspiracy focusing on him due to his impartial overseas coverage choices on Russia, China, and Afghanistan. The US has denied the allegations.
The cricketer-turned-politician, the one Pakistani Prime Minister to be ousted in a no-confidence vote in Parliament, is in search of contemporary common elections. The time period of the present nationwide meeting will finish in August 2023.
